We revel in a tradition that we know from experience has helped us to grow both humanly and spiritually. That tradition can be transplanted into other life-forms with enthusiasm and discretion.

To those who are called to monastic life, the tradition is the scaffolding and the nourishment of each day. To those who are called to some other manifestation of the universal call to holiness, the tradition can be adapted without turning a home into a monastery.
